General Data Protection Regulations and Privacy notice

The Avenue Nursery is fully committed to compliance with the General Data Protection (2018) regulations.

In order to operate effectively we need to collect and use information about staff, volunteers, students and children and their families who come to the setting. All members of our nursery community give consent for the collection, storage and use of data for specific named purposes. We must also collect and store this information in order to meet our legal obligations to regulatory bodies such as the Early Years Foundation Stage statutory requirements, Ofsted, HMRC and other bodies.

In the collection, storage and purposeful use of this data we recognise our responsibility to comply with the General Data Protection regulations. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) and have named Data Protection Officers.
