The Nursery

Environment 

We provide a stimulating environment rich in learning opportunities and highly skilled staff who know when to leave children immersed in a learning experience and when to sensitively intervene to provide challenge and enhance learning opportunities.

Children are encouraged to take developmentally appropriate risks in their learning knowing that staff are there to provide help and support if needed. They use simple tools such as hammer, nails and screwdrivers and use safety practices. They enjoy increasing independence and are proud of their achievements.

We offer enrichment activities such as French lessons and Mini Movez where children enjoy fitness, dance, movement and yoga to music.These sessions help the children to develop their communication, social and physical skills.

EYFS Curriculum

Our curriculum incorporates positive and diverse learning opportunities accessible to all children. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and meet the individual needs of all children. This is achieved through a highly tailored educational program using each child’s interests and pre-existing skills to effectively immerse them in activities and experiences rich in developmental opportunities. Children make very good progress through the curriculum and leave the nursery ready for school.
