About Us

We are a long established nursery with over 30 years experience. We operate from 2 classrooms within Holmesdale Infant School for children aged from 2-5 years.

The Ladybird and Butterfly rooms offer a free flow learning environment, indoors to outdoors. We are proud of our wonderful outdoor play and learning environment, and we know the children value the fantastic opportunities this offers. We also grow a variety of produce in our garden which the children help to look after.

We offer a Derbyshire County Council school dinner or you can supply a packed lunch.

The nursery celebrates events with the school children aiding a smoother transition into school. We go out and about when we can, and love visitors coming to see us (police, fire, vet, dentist, St Philips Church) on a regular basis or linking to our current topic.
